Who are we?
Or more accurately Who am I? Darren Yates, that's me, is
the sole owner and sole administrator(at this time) of how-to-make-money-online.info.
I've built this entire site myself on top of the phpnuke
site engine and the phpBB
Forum engine. I've also written all the content bar the
comments and Forum posts obviously. Designed the logo and
much of the graphic look of the site which is based on the
anjara theme for phpnuke.
I've personally been online since 1994 that's almost ten
years! back then it was all BB's(Bulletin Boards), Gopher,
Telnet and Ftp. Until a little program called Mosaic came
along and everyone switched to the early graphic Internet.
Mosaic eventually turned into Netscape, which sadly is no
longer with us as of Aug 03.
Anyway, in 1999 I started up a web design/development company
offering web design, development and search engine marketing,
which has proved very successful, allowing me to make a
living online since 2000.
I currently spend all my time online. If I'm not busy building
websites then I'm researching web technology or online business
opportunities.
Which brings me full circle and back to this site how-to-make-money-online.info.
This site is designed to allow for the development of a community
based around making money online. The technology used, some
of which is mentioned above, is far in advance of other Internet
marketing sites. Allowing for a greater interaction and sharing
of information.
My aim is to develop resources along side this community,
that benefits and enhances the communities overall aim, to
make money online. To this end I will be uploading reviews
of major products and services, writing articles based upon
my own experiences online both personal and as a professional
web developer, publishing a Newsletter, offering links to
newly released or discovered software and providing other
general resources, ideas and information to the community.
The most important part of all this is YOU ! ;-). Without
you there is no community! You are able to 'submit news' which
can be snippets of info or full articles, make comments on
various sections of the site and join the Forums.
As registered member you will also be eligible for some up
and coming free products and services. ;-)
So if you haven't done so already take a look round and see
