Make sure that you have a clear understanding in advance about what you can expect from your service. For example, how will down time and ongoing maintenance be managed and charged? Even if you do not design the membership site yourself it is a good idea to write the copy. You are the best person to discuss your products, services and happenings. Finally, include feedback opportunities, and commit to a timely response. It is important for members to know that you are responsive to their needs and concerns.
